Reach For the Sky
walking in the footsteps of Thomas Cole and Henry Thoreau feeling the wind on my face a thousand miles from the rat race these mountains have see so many different peoples visit for a while and disappear when we’re gone for good no one will even know we were here I followed the Buddha up ancient paths in the foothills of Nepal I bathed in the sacred water the mountains loomed majestic and tall these mountains have seen so many different gods visit for a time and then disappear when we’re gone for good no one will even know we were here water finds its way by evaporation it travels the globe every seven years you may have bathed in the molecules in China that I’m looking down on here these mountains have seen so much water once there were towns and now a river flows here when we’re gone for good no one will even know we were here water keep flowing cut this land like a diamond mountains keep rising reach for the sky
