The revolution has begun. Nobody knows what is going to happen. All I can say is that though maybe I should be ashamed to be part of a species which harms so many of its own, I am not ashamed. For the first time in a long time I am not embarrased to be a human. In the New York Area we have come together so completely, as far as I can see, that I don't think I'll ever feel alone again. Our elected leaders have behaved extraordinarilly, with honor and dignity. I guess that is the key word: dignity. Terrorists have taken some of our loved ones but given us back our dignity. So many people have reached out in kindness, generosity and compassion. We have proven that we are GOOD. Yes, GOOD. Human nature is GOOD!!!!!
I repeat: GOOD!
God Bless our city.
God Bless our country.
God Bless our world.
I have only hope and love in my heart.
We may have to have a war but we will survive it or not with dignity. This is a great gift.
